Hi! I decided to take one of my favorite suits and pair the jacket with some linen shorts. I'm always trying to get the most out of my wardrobe. This is probably why I work hard to get the most out of my time as well. I know I can not win in all areas in life but I definitely strive hard to win in areas that matter most like my personal time and savings. Therefore, I have implemented a few things that give me extra time and money.
1. I plan in advance 30 minutes or less meals each week. This was so hard for me trying to figure out what I wanted on Sunday for Thursday meal:).. However, this help eliminate midweek unnecessary supermarket trips and unhealthy take out dinners. These extra shopping trips can also lead to overspending. I'm so surprised how this helped me develop a daily habit of cooking and I can get it done quicker than a TV show some days!
2. I complete my laundry during the weekday. Most times while I'm cooking or reading I put a load in the washer. I never enjoy spending hours doing laundry especially on weekends or during family time so this works well for me.
3. Building my faith is so important to me...so every time I do my 30 minute elliptical workout I'm listening to faith building and bible messages. This allows me to work on physical & spiritual health which I believe reduces stress and clear your mind of unimportant issues we can attract in life.
4. I carry a note pad like the one on the picture and I write random thoughts, ideas, or to do lists. I can hardly believe how a $1 notepad can save me so much time and even money. If you follow me on Instagram I randomly post messages of inspiration. These messages most often are placed on my heart at odd times so having a note pad handy is a lifesaver. I am also thankful how my notepad serves as a reminder to not forget important things that can cause me extra money and time.
Well as always thank you so much for reading and have a great weekend!
