THINGS I PAY FOR...

Happy Tuesday! I hope you are having a great week! I share a lot on things I do not spend money on. Therefore I can invest into things like my $500 challenge. However, today I wanted to share the things I do spend money on.

1. I spend on food and supplements. It is so important to me what I put inside my body so if that cost a little bit more then I'm okay with that. I'm more driven to purchase items based on the effects it will have on my body and overall health. The healthier you are the more you save money due to lower doctor or hospital visits.

2. I spend on moisturizers, sunscreen, and other skincare products.. I do not wear makeup other than lip gloss so it's important to keep my skin and teeth as healthy as possible.

3. I spend on my home. My home is a comfortable and relaxing space for me so I definitely do not mind investing the money to maintain that feeling. For example , I don't have a gym membership  but I do have a gym in my home. This does not only save me money but it creates a space to promote good health.

4. I spend on automobiles.  I drive practically everywhere so I need reliable transportation. Therefore having an automobile and an extra one as backup is a must for me.

5. Last, I spend on others. It feels so great to surprise someone with lunch/dinner, quality time, or gifts. The act of giving whether in time or money is a huge expression of love! Love is a powerful motivating force! Most times people want to give from the heart but their pockets will not allow it. I feel making good financial choices with money can reverse this and give you the opportunity to give more. Most importantly, it always feels better to be a blessing to someone else in whatever way you can!

As always thank you for stopping by and have a blessed week ahead!

MY QUOTE OF THE DAY:: SILK ON SILK

Happy new day! I hope you had a beautiful weekend! The weather has been extremely hot reaching the mid 90s. Therefore I've been gravitating toward cooler items of clothing such as silk. I love silk on silk pairings and if possible looser pieces that won't stick to the skin in the warmer temperatures. It's an awesome lightweight material perfect for beating the heat without losing the feeling of luxury.

Thank you for stopping by and remember  "Once you have unlocked your gift you can step into each new day and attach to the beauty and happiness around you in every possible way" Have a blessed week!

FINANCIAL FRIDAY

Happy Friday! Hope you are having a great week! I was asked a question and felt it would be great to share my answer. "How do you start the process towards financial freedom?" These are a few mental prep tips that I share when asked these type of questions before going into the physical actions needed to change your life financially.

1. Try praying or mediating on what your heart desires! This always helps me to make sure that everything I attempt to do is in line with God's plan and purpose for my life.

2.  Create a vision of what financial independence looks like for you.  This is so important to your happiness because you never want to create a vision that's not your own. Your vision is so unique and should add a special touch to the world.

3. Get over the time factor.  I've found that worrying about the time you lost will only cause stress. Focus on the time you have now because that is all you can control and honestly all that matters.

4. Last, just step out in faith and start the process.  Most times we spend more time thinking than working towards our goals. What's the worst thing that could happen? It doesn't work according to plan and you have to try again. However, the best thing that could happen is you achieve financial independence!

Thank you so much for reading and have a blessed weekend!

FINANCIAL FRIDAY

Happy Friday! I hope you are having a great week! As the weather is warming up the challenge of saving money may become difficult because of vacations and other summer time activities. You start to see so many advertisements on how to spend your money but remember their job is to sell! Your job is to create financial freedom! However, you can overcome this challenge by remaining consistent. When you remain financially consistent no matter the weather you can keep it all together.

Therefore keep your thoughts consistent and the best way to do this is to clearly understand your financial purpose. When you know that purpose you will not entertain any thoughts that are not in line with that purpose. You attract your most dominate thoughts!

Last, regardless of the weather never change your financial habits like paying yourself first, making saving/investing automatic, staying out of debt, or becoming an owner! Remember creating good financial habits that you are committed to doing daily is how you create consistency and that's how you can win financially.

I pray you have a blessed weekend and as always thank you for stopping by!

that is always in my wardrobe season to season due to its versatility and comfort.

FINANCIAL FRIDAY

Happy Friday! I pray you are having a beautiful week! I wanted to share a few ideas on how to have a stress free vacation. If you follow on instagram then you already know I recently went to Las Vegas. I was able to enjoy it and return home stress free because everything was planned in advance. Therefore, I would like to share how I prepared for the vacation.

Take care of home first: I never leave for any vacation without making sure all my household expenses are all taken care of. The fact that I pay bills one particular day of each month and the process is automatic reduces a lot of financial stress. Therefore I can enjoy my month without financial worry and in this case enjoy my vacation.

Prepay for vacation expenses: The flight and hotel are sometimes the most expensive items so paying for the entire amount as early as possible is a plus. If you charge it please pay off the balance immediately. Your vacation should not cost you interest!!

Another expense I prepaid for was my Vegas shows. Every night I had a show planned and I didn't want the worry of long lines to purchase tickets.

Meals and Shopping: This is the area you can only estimate based on what the average cost in the area is. I knew a lot of my eating would be in the resort because there were tons of food options and it was convenient. Therefore, I planned $100-$150 per day for meals. I'm also glad I explored some authentic Vegas restaurants outside the resort as well.

There were plenty of shopping options. I found knowing what I wanted in advance made the shopping less stressful and saved time.

Thank you for reading and I pray you have a blessed weekend!
