Happy Friday! I pray that you are having a wonderful week and a happy new day! Time is one of our greatest gifts. I feel that if most of us knew our death date we would place more value on our time. We may not know the exact date but we do know that we will not be here on earth always. Therefore, that fact alone has motivated me to honor and place value on my time. Therefore, I wanted to share  a few things that can possibly lead to devaluing your gift of time.

Not knowing your purpose! I know this a big one because you either have purpose or you are seeking it. I just challenge you to find it and constantly keep it in your heart and thoughts. Your time becomes devalued without a purpose.  Basically, you can fall victim to doing things for yourself or even for others that are not in line with your journey in life. Remember when you have purpose every moment counts!

Worrying about things you can not control! I have found out that worrying is just a trick of the enemy! My mission is always to do your best and give God the rest. That is all any of us can do along with learning and moving forward. When you devote your energy into worrying it devalues your time. Basically, time and energy that could have been spent in a more positive and purposeful way has been wasted. Mainly, because our thoughts can consume us or create greatness within us. Therefore, it is best to not worry about where you are but focus all your energy into where you desire to be. who wants to become a worry warrior:)

Last, life is not a race it is more about developing a steady pace. For example, when I read a new book I only read one chapter each day. I like to take notes and spend time reflecting on what I have read before moving to another chapter. That puts me into a position where I can implement what I have learned.  In addition, when I used to work a job I would tie all my happiness to Friday; therefore, I was missing so many days to experience true joy.. I was basically speeding through the first 5 days  for only 1-2 days of happiness. ...but joy is promised to us every single day! Therefore, racing through life in thoughts and actions can lead to devaluing your greatest gift of time!

As always, thank you for your love and support! Have a blessed rest of the week!

Good point about the importance of time too. I'm a natural worrier so I have to try fight that sometimes! And it's true time is so precious, I enjoy all the time I get with my boys as they grow up so fast!

Hope you are having a great week so far :)
